About Judith
Judith Cullington has over 35 years’ experience working with and for local and senior governments, non-government organizations, First Nations and the private sector. She is a professional facilitator and writer, who holds certification from the International Association for Public Participation Planning for Effective Public Participation and Group Facilitation and Cultural Perspectives Blended Learning Training. Her interests and experience span a diversity of topics—climate action, community planning, clean energy, natural area conservation, urban forests, wildlife, species and ecosystems at risk, invasive species, water and rainwater management, parks and trails, sustainable transportation, integrated resource management, and more…
As a two-term Councillor with the City of Colwood and Alternate Capital Regional District Board Director (2008–2014), she created and led the development of the award-winning Solar Colwood program.
Judith serves as a lay member on the Association of BC Forest Professionals’ Investigations Committee. Her many community roles include volunteering with the Juan de Fuca Performing Arts Centre Society, the Citizen’s Environment Network in Colwood, and the Esquimalt Lagoon Stewardship Initiative. She is an active member of the West Shore Chamber of Commerce.
Our Values
Our core values include protecting and enhancing our natural environment, taking action to address climate change, and building and supporting community. Our office is powered in part by solar photovoltaic and solar thermal panels. We work to conserve energy where possible. Judith drives an electric vehicle and bikes or walks as much as possible. We grow local food, support local businesses, and participate actively with the local community.
